ENFIELD, CT — For the second year, a scholarship offering $5,000 per semester over four years, or $40,000 total, is being offered by an Enfield High School graduate in memory of his late sister.
John Dion, a 1982 Enfield alumnus, is providing the scholarship through his private foundation in honor of his sister, Karen Dion, a 1977 graduate of Enfield High School. Karen had four other siblings, two nephews and a niece who all went on to study and graduate at a Connecticut public college or university.
This is an annual needs-based scholarship that will be awarded to an Enfield High School graduating senior who will be attending a Connecticut four-year public college or university.
