Kathleen A. Devlin, 65; Animal Lover Who Lived in Enfield
Calling hours and the funeral service are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Kathleen A. Devlin, of Enfield, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014. She was 65.
Kathleen was born Sept. 6, 1949, in Holyoke, MA, a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Lena (Pasternak) Devlin.
She was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School and the University of Connecticut where she received a degree in nursing. Always seeking to gain more knowledge she took classes to become a computer programmer. Kathleen was formerly employed for several years with Mass Mutual as a computer programmer. Kathleen loved animals and took in stray cats and dogs to care for them.

She is survived by a brother, Paul W. Devlin and his wife, Monica of Windsor Locks, and a sister, Karen J. VanGasbeck of East Windsor; three nephews and a niece whom she loved like her own children, William VanGasbeck and wife Diana, Mark VanGasbeck and wife Jen and Kerry and Ryan Devlin and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A funeral service will begin at 11am. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
