LETTER: Bob Cressotti – A Candidate for ALL Enfield Residents

Opinions expressed are those of the letter writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of Patch Media. Opposing viewpoints are welcomed.

Political newcomer and longtime Enfield resident, Bob Cressotti, Democrat, has launched his campaign to serve on Enfield’s Town Council. Recently sworn in to the vacant District 2 seat with unanimous approval from both Democrats and Republicans, Cressotti will have already served two months as councilor when Election Day arrives. Cressotti is well known for his leadership and service in the community. Whether coaching or teaching, excellence has always been his goal.

Robert Cressotti values the needs and well-being of all people. He is committed to bridging gaps and promoting dialogue between local government and its constituents. Former students have remarked that Mr. Cressotti’s classroom was a place where every voice was heard and valued. These values of inclusiveness and excellence that he held throughout his career will undoubtedly be reflected in his service as councilor. Robert Cressotti has “a passion for making Enfield the best town for ALL residents”.

Enfield Democrats have quoted Cressotti as saying: I have a vision of seeing Enfield grow into a bigger and better town than it is today: programs for youth development and senior citizens, family programs and entertainment venues, growth for small businesses, nurturing the different facets of our community for balance for all citizens of Enfield.”
