ENFIELD, CT — I will be voting to re-elect Kelly Hemmeler as my district 2 Councilor. I've been watching and noticed that she supported four dedicated community police officers for Thompsonville including walking patrols and a police substation at Enfield Express. I noticed there was improvements with blighted properties cleaned up on Church Street and South River Street. She supported new community gardens all over town. There are big plans for Higgins Park behind town hall that include a walking path. A new playscape was installed this summer and I see kids playing every day I drive by. New basketball courts were installed at Alcorn and Lafayette Park.
Kelly cares very much for Enfield and does what is best for the people in her district. I will be voting to re-elect Kelly Hemmeler and the Republican team on November 2nd.
