LETTER: Marcy Taliceo - A Voice For All Enfield Schoolchildren

Opinions expressed are those of the letter writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of Patch Media. Opposing viewpoints are welcomed.

This letter is being written as an endorsement for Enfield Board of Education candidate Marcy Taliceo. Marcy is a dedicated parent of 3, volunteer educational advocate, educator and mental health professional. I have witnessed her relentless dedication to the residents of our town from speaking at town meetings on behalf of those who can’t, volunteering her time to assist parents during PPT meetings and providing mental health services pro bono for those in need. I’m looking forward to Marcy being a voice for all of our school children as a member of our Board of Education.

Marcy‘s message regarding education is clear and that is to ensure success for all Enfield children and teachers. She knows the strengths and areas of concerns for both and will do what needs to be done to accomplish this mission. Marcy is also a strong advocate for community input, which I believe is very important. She will be a strong voice for our community and we will be proud to know that Marcy listens to us and will feel comfortable knowing that Marcy is there to speak on behalf of our children and families.

If you have not had the pleasure of meeting Marcy, I strongly recommend that you get to know her. She is kind, generous, smart and has a great sense of humor. Marcy also has a strong moral compass and a caring and gentle personality. I fully support Marcy Taliceo for Board of Education and ask for you to vote for her on November 7th for Board of Education.
