LETTER: Support for Bob Cressotti in District 2

It is a great honor for me to have this opportunity to work with Enfield’s Democratic team of candidates. Our team is a balanced mix of incumbents and newcomers on both the Town Council and Board of Education. One of our newcomers is Bob Cressotti.
Bob is running in District 2 which encompasses Thompsonville. Bob has been a tremendous advocate for the children of Enfield. In his more than 36 years as an educator, Bob has served as an exemplary classroom teacher, proving to be a tremendous positive force in the lives of his students.
Aside from teaching, Bob began the girls’ soccer program at Enfield High School and coached until 1995. Bob was the assistant baseball coach for 18 years at EHS before becoming the varsity Fermi baseball coach. Bob volunteers in the Enfield community: Friends of Rachel Club, Enfield Allied Stars as a coach and partner, Dream League for Children with Disabilities. He is a past director of the former Camp Shriver and is a long-time coach for the Enfield Stars Special Olympics team.

Bob sees a more holistic picture of Enfield, nurturing the different facets of our community for balance for all citizens of Enfield. Bob is also a small businessman, running the Cressotti Baseball School that has been a part of summer recreation for the past 26 years, beginning when his own children were attending camps. He realized that not all children could afford these camps, so began a program that was affordable for families in Enfield.
Bob lives in Thompsonville with his wife Marilynn (Santacroce). They have four children: Jamie Drzyzga (an EHS science teacher), Abbie Bennis, Samantha Cressotti and Bryan Cressotti. They also have five grandchildren.

Bob will work hard on the issues in District 2. I have seen firsthand how much he cares, how hard he works and how devoted to Enfield he is.
Please come out and support our Democratic Candidates for Town Council, Board of Education and Constable on Tuesday, November 7.
Tom Arnone
Town Councilor at-large
