LETTER: Support Elizabeth Windsor-Post for Enfield BOE
Letters are strictly the opinion of the author, and do not necessarily reflect the views of Enfield Patch.

I write in support of Elizabeth Windsor-Post for election to the Enfield Board of Education.
Ms. Windsor-Post is a career educator whose children attend Enfield Public Schools. I had the pleasure of meeting her through her involvement as a mentor for the Connecticut Invention Convention. Her infectious enthusiasm and commitment to student learning helped make the program a success, and she continues to give generously of her time to ensure the CIC program continues in Enfield.
With her background as an education policy researcher at UConn, Ms. Windsor-Post knows how to create a clear, long-term vision that will support learning in our schools. She also understands data, a critical skill for navigating the changes in standards, curriculum and testing we are seeing across the country and in Enfield.
As a teacher, Ms. Windsor-Post’s years of classroom experience will make her an informed advocate for Enfield’s well trained, hard working teachers.
I have witnessed Elizabeth Windsor-Post’s engagement and devotion as an educator, and I can vouch for her as a terrific listener and communicator. She will be a great asset to the Board of Education.
