LETTER: Support for Family Man Bob Cressotti

Opinions expressed are those of the letter writer and do not necessarily reflect the views of Patch Media. Opposing viewpoints are welcomed.

My nephew Bob Cressotti is running for Enfield Town Council in District 2. I have known Bob all his life. Bob is a very special person who has always dedicated his life to helping others. As a teacher, as a baseball coach, and as an ardent supporter of the Autistic Foundation, he has shaped the lives of many young people. Bob is married to a wonderful woman, Marilyn Santaroce Cressotti, and together they have four beautiful children: Jamie, Allie, Samantha, and Bryan. These children are blessed with two wonderful parents.

Bob lost his father at a very young age. Two years after that loss, Bob suffered another tragic loss when his brother died in an accident. Bob Cressotti now had to care for his mother and sister.

My nephew is a very talented athlete. He had an opportunity to tryout for the New York Yankees, but had to forgo that dream in order to care for his family. You see, for Bob, family has always been top priority.

I just know that Bob will be a wonderful representative of the people that he hopes to serve. It gives me great pleasure to ask you the voters, to consider casting your ballot for Bob Cressotti. I am so proud of this man, and I am certain that you will be proud to call him your councilman.
