LETTER: Supporting Kelly Hemmeler For Enfield Town Council

ENFIELD, CT — Kelly Hemmeler is the right choice to continue moving District 2 forward.
Two years ago, our community put our faith in Kelly when we gave her our vote. In my opinion, we made the right decision because she has done great work.
One of her first commitments was to remove a burned down building on Church St. This property was an eyesore, a health issue and brought down the value of the properties nearby for many years. Just because it was located in “T’Ville” didn’t make it right to ignore this problem.

Kelly didn’t ignore it; she moved quickly, remedied it and continues to work to revitalize this area, once the jewel and bustling hub of Enfield.
Kelly is focused on what affects “We the People” who elected her as our Councilperson. She leaves her “R” at the door of the chamber. Her District is only one section of this town and she is there to bring that perspective to the table, as well as improve the lives of all people who live and work there.

Each district should be a gem in and of itself, highlighting all that is good in each, which in turn benefits Enfield inclusively.
Kelly will answer a phone call, email or message, very responsive to anyone who has a question or concern and she acts on it. Don’t be afraid to reach out to her. She is down to earth and lives within the heart of her constituents and truly cares.
This November, “We the People” cannot afford to lose our voice in Kelly. We need to re-elect Kelly Hemmeler and continue to improve District 2.
