Margaret Meade once said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed it is the only thing that ever has." Voices for Enfield exemplifies what this quote is about. With today’s political climate in our town, it shows that a change is definitely needed and needed now.

We the people need to abolish the two party system that has Enfield stuck in the dirty mud of politics with their backdoor deals and decision making, exercising their misleading power to silence the voice of the people and their right to be informed by the stroke of a pen, and poof the EHS student debates are canceled! REALLY?

It is my understanding that the membership on the Board of Education be made up of elected residents of the community from different backgrounds and walks of life, such as doctors, lawyers, homemakers, teachers, truck drivers, business owners and many more who represent the community's diverse beliefs and values regardless of their political party affiliation.

I am voting for Row C because I believe that it is time for transparency, integrity, fresh eyes, and because this is a group of hard working and diverse individuals from our great community who will each bring something to the table with the purpose of working together as a team that is not based on political party affiliation but what is in the best interest for the residents of Enfield.
