ENFIELD, CT — Elections can be a popularity contest or they can be an opportunity to vote for the right people who will do the right thing. I am Kelly Hemmeler a newly elected town councilor who knows it is time to send Mary Ann Turner to Hartford.
Mary Ann has been involved in local Enfield politics for more than 20 years. She is the hardest working, most conscientious, driven individual you would ever meet.
Mary Ann sees opportunities and she helps people be part of the solution. For all the years I have known her she is loyal and will encourage everyone around her to do his or her best. Mary Ann is no nonsense and no matter the time of day or night, she is right there, ready to counsel, encourage and explain.
