Lynda Lee Gilchrest, 67; Enfield Resident Who Worked as Nursing Assistant at The Suffield House
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 25 with funeral services scheduled for Thursday, March 26.

Lynda Lee Gilchrest, 67, of Enfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Hebrew Home and Hospital in West Hartford.
Born in Hartford to the late Henry Jr. and Catherine (Powers) Schadee, she graduated from Bloomfield High School and lived in Kentucky for 26 years before settling in Enfield. Lynda worked as a CNA at the Suffield House and she truly enjoyed taking care of others. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed puzzles, but her pride and joy was her family who will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her daughters, Lacy Gilchrest of Windsor, Elena Knutson and her husband Delbert of East Granby, and Leslie Mack and her husband Lenny of Granby; her sister Patricia Tomkiewicz of Enfield; and her beloved grandchildren, Devin, Emily, Justin, Randin, Genesis, Nathanial, Christan, Sara, Lee, Danielle and Laney.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, March 26 at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor followed by burial in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 25 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
