Man Must Serve 3-Year Jail Sentence for Crash that Killed Enfield Child
The motorcyclist was sentenced to eight years, but the sentence was suspended after three years.

The Enfield motorcyclist who struck and killed a youngster nearly a year-and-a-half ago has been sentenced to three years in jail.
Brian A. Dolloff was sentenced on Wednesday to eight years in jail, suspended after three years, and also must serve five years probation, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website. He pleaded nolo contendre to a charge of second-degree manslaughter, according to the judicial records.

Dolloff was arrested following the Sept. 25, 2013 crash in which 11-year-old Nico Filippa died from injuries after he was struck on Broad Brook Road near Salerno Drive.
Dolloff was arrested by Enfield Police on April 14, 2014, according to the Judicial Branch records. An hour after the crash, tests determined his blood alcohol content was .069 — above the legal limit, according to an NBC Connecticut report.
