Man Slashed in Face in Enfield

The man was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

ENFIELD, CT — Police are investigating an incident which took place Thursday night involving a man who was slashed in the face.

Deputy Police Chief Gary Collins said the incident was reported around 8 p.m., when a man with a serious laceration to his face tracked down an officer at the community policing station in the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center on North Main Street.

The man told police he had been slashed with a box cutter at the intersection of Asnuntuck and Prospect streets. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Collins said.
