Man Suffers Serious Knife Wounds; Enfield Man Arrested

ENFIELD, CT — Police responded to town hall Tuesday upon a report of a man bleeding heavily, and upon investigation arrested a local man in connection with the incident.

Timothy Lindsay, 32, was charged with second-degree assault and carrying a dangerous weapon. He was being held in lieu of $750,000 bond, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.

Few details have been released about the attack, but Fox said when officers arrived, they
determined the man was bleeding as a result of an assault with a knife at a residence on Spring Street.
