Margaret G. 'Marge' Stadtlander, 89; Eucharistic Minister at St. Bernard Church; Long-Time Enfield Resident
A funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 19.

Margaret G. “Marge” Stadtlander, 89, of Enfield, entered into eternal peace Friday, February 13, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Residence in Enfield.
The daughter of the late Frederick and Grace (Behrend) Landau, Marge was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in East Hartford before moving to Enfield in 1958.

Marge was a member of St. Bernard Church, served as a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector, a CCD teacher, and served later for a number of years as Secretary of the CCD Program; she was also Cub Scout Den Mother.
Marge is survived by her loving husband, Hobart “Hobie” Stadtlander, of 64 years. She is also survived by her son Kenneth Stadtlander, his wife Pauline, her three grandchildren Nikiah, Amber, and Erik; as well as her great grandson Mason, all of Chicopee, MA.

She was predeceased by her son, Theodore “Ted” Stadtlander in 2000.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Saint Joseph’s Residence Chapel, 1365 Enfield St, Enfield CT. Burial will be held at a later date.
Donations in Marge’s memory may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1365 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082, and to St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield, CT 06082.
