Marion P. Harmon, 79; Enfield Resident Who Was A Retired Clerical Worker
Calling hours will be held Sunday, Oct. 12 with the funeral scheduled for Monday, Oct. 13.

Marion P. (Pawshuk) Harmon, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr., Hartford. She was 79.
She was born on March 18, 1935 in Hartford, a daughter of the late Michael and Anasthasia ( Darmorus) Pawshuk.

She had resided in Enfield for the past 48 years and in Hartford prior to that. During her working career she was employed as a clerical clerk with Smith Barney and then worked at Southern Auto Auction. Marion was a parishioner of St. Martha Church, Enfield. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, trips to the casinos, pysanky egg decorating, shopping at tag sales and most importantly, spending time with family.
Marion is survived by her husband of 53 years Robert Harmon; her children, Robert Harmon and his wife JoAnn of Enfield, Kristi Gentry and her husband Charles of Trenton, GA, and Jodi Harmon and her husband Dan Tomlin of Stafford; her grandchildren Derek Harmon and Jessica Gentry, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters Sophie Sledesky, Olga Dmytrowicz, and Anna Swirsky.
A Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Marion’s life will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, at St. Martha Church, Enfield. Marion’s family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield.
