Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• A group of honors students from Eastern Connecticut State University spent 10 days in Costa Rica this May for a field course that examined the country's rich biodiversity and developing agricultural industry.
  Among the travelers from Eastern were Kevin Connolly of Enfield, who majors in Biology, and Jessica Miclon of Enfield, who majors in English and Sociology.

Hofstra University, Hempstead NY

• Jessica Wittig of Enfield excelled during the spring 2017 semester, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List.

Quinnipiac University, Hamden CT

• Larissa Brown, Garett Guimond, Maya Samba-Green and Lauren Shanley of Enfield have been named to the dean's list for the spring 2017 semester.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Christopher LaPointe has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. LaPointe is from Enfield. To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.

Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield MA

• Enfield residents Kevin Bennett, Amanda Callaghan, Rachel Garwacki, Matthew Goulet, Shannon Moran, Megan Murray, Erika Reardon and Ashley Van Gilder have been named to the dean's list for the spring 2017 semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students from Enfield have been named to the Dean's List for spring 2017: Ryan Allberry, Dax Avery, Creya Casale, Jason Dubour, Emily Garwacki, Shannon Gavey, Christopher Osborne, Haley Porcello, Christian Rodriguez, Alexander Samson, Nyah Saroce, Nicholas Ryder, Breauna Jurkowski, Alex LaVoie, Vincent Kedzior, Myria Avery and Maria Dufresne.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Kristen T. Dansereau, of Enfield, appeared in Western New England University's spring production of Beauty and the Beast to sold-out audiences at Western New England University. Dansereau, seen in the play as Madame De La Grande Bouche and the Sausage Curl Girl, is a senior Neuroscience major. She has been involved with the Stageless Players since her freshman year and participated in Curtains: the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, and Legally Blonde.
• Christy LaPlante has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the spring semester of 2017. LaPlante is working toward a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
• Jessica LeClair has been named to the Dean's List at Western New England University for the spring semester 2017. LeClair is working toward a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
