- Kristen T. Dansereau, of Enfield, appeared in Western New England University's spring production of Beauty and the Beast to sold-out audiences at Western New England University. Dansereau, seen in the play as Madame De La Grande Bouche and the Sausage Curl Girl, is a senior Neuroscience major. She has been involved with the Stageless Players since her freshman year and participated in Curtains: the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, and Legally Blonde.
- Christy LaPlante has been named to the President's List at Western New England University for the spring semester of 2017. LaPlante is working toward a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.
