• A pair of Enfield residents were named to the President's List for the fall 2017 semester. They are Rachel Framarin, an Early Childhood Education major, and Jamason Pestana, a Health and Human Performance major.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates 412 students, including nine from Enfield, named to the fall 2017-2018 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher. Enfield honorees are Tyler Griffith, majoring in Accounting; Steven Rinaldi, majoring in Biomedical Engineering; Dominique Herbert, majoring in Business Analytics Information Management; Michael Bemont, majoring in Business Analytics Information Management; Justin Dinsmore, majoring in Criminal Justice; Heidi Isbister, majoring in English - Creative Writing; Zachary Stein, majoring in General Business; Mariah Vella, majoring in Management and Leadership; and Nicholas Krasinkiewicz, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

• Zachary Boyer of Enfield, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in robotics engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Nantucket. The project was titled Stimulate the adoption of Solar PV on Nantucket.
