Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- More than 300 Eastern Connecticut State University students were recognized for scholarly excellence at the conclusion of the spring 2022 semester. Given by academic departments across the university, the recognitions included induction into 15 academic honor societies, scholarship awards and departmental distinctions. Among those honored were Allyson Daleb of Enfield, a junior who majors in early childhood education and psychology, who was inducted into the Psi Chi international psychology honor society at the Department of Psychological Sciences annual induction and awards ceremony on April 22 in the Student Center's Betty R. Tipton Room. Sarah Theriault of Enfield, a junior who majors in sociology and women's and gender studies, was inducted into the Epsilon Gamma chapter of the Iota Iota Iota (Triota) honor society at the Women's and Gender Studies program's annual awards on April 22 in the Student Center Theatre.

- Caitlin Gannon of Enfield was named to the Lasell University Dean's List for her academic performance in the spring 2022 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.
University of Vermont, Burlington VT
- Jack Mercik of Enfield graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in theatre during commencement ceremonies in May. This year's commencement at the University of Vermont-the 221st in its history-marked a return to a traditional celebration outdoors on the University Green after two years of re-imagined ceremonies due to pandemic restrictions.

- Emily Pease of Enfield was welcomed into the Mortar Board National Honor Society on April 10 at the Western New England University chapter's annual induction ceremony at Rivers Memorial Hall. Mortar Board is the senior honor society at Western New England University. The society is open to those students who have demonstrated both academic excellence and leadership on campus and in the community. Students in the top 35 percent of the junior class are considered eligible for the society with the membership being selected by the existing members of the previous year. Pease is working toward a BA in law & society.
- Western New England University held its College of Arts and Sciences Senior Awards Ceremony on May 5 on the University Commons lawn. The university honored 25 graduating seniors who were selected based on their academic achievement in the major or based on their overall class standing. Ashley Morace of Enfield received the Honor Award for Social Work, and Maria Concha Sanchez of Enfield received the Outstanding Graduating Senior in International Studies.
