ENFIELD, CT — An investigation by Enfield and Springfield police, together with a task force from the Drug Enforcement Administration, led to execution of a search and seizure warrant at an Enfield residence Tuesday morning, and the arrest of a local man.

Christopher M. Jenkins, 49, was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $250,000, Lt. Willie Pedemonti said.

An investigation into illegal narcotics activity by the three agencies led to approval of a warrant for 100 Tariff Street. Around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, entry was made into the home without incident, and a search yielded 830 grams of crack and powder cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia. Portions of the cocaine was packaged for sale, Pedemonti said.
