Two Alumnae Return to Give Back to Their School Community

New Faculty on Board at St. Bernard School!
St. Bernard School is happy to announce the addition of two caring, dynamic and talented teachers to their current teaching staff.
Miss Stephanie Stauble has been hired as the new second grade teacher, replacing long-time veteran Patricia Sagon, who retired this past June with over 30 years of service at St. Bernard School. Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Connecticut State University and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Teaching at St. Joseph University.

Mrs. Rebekah Vick is currently teaching Religion and Literature to the 7th and 8th grade students at St. Bernard School after teaching 5th and 6th grades at a Catholic school in Atlanta, GA. She has just recently moved back to her hometown of Somers, CT. Rebekah graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and English.
Mrs. Charlene Mongillo, the current principal, is extremely excited to be working with not only two alumnae of St. Bernard School, but also two of her former students she personally taught in the 7th and 8th grade classrooms.
