Norman J. Bohannah, 81; Lifelong Enfield Resident, Hallmark Cards Retiree

Norman J. Bohannah, 81, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at Suffield By the River.
Norman was born March 31, 1933, in Stafford, the son of the late William and Adelise (Cormier) Bohannah.

He was a lifelong resident of Enfield and parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church. Norman retired from Hallmark Cards in 1998 after 33 years. He loved all sports and was an avid fan of both the New York Yankees and New York Giants. Norman was a movie buff of old classics.
Norman is survived by an aunt, Albertine Landry; and two nieces, Linda May and Deborah Phelps, and two cousins, Carol Ann Duquette and MaryBeth Lefave.

Norman was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth W. Bohannah in 2009.
Norman’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff from Suffield By the River, Home & Community Hospice and BrightStar Care of West Hartford for the compassionate and wonderful care he received.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join Norman’s family during visiting hours on Friday, Sept. 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Leete-Stevens Funeral Home, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral procession from at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery.
