Condolences to her family and friends.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Barbara (Smyth) Plamondon. Barbara passed away at the Care House in Port Orange, FL on June 8, 2022 at 12:35 a.m. She received amazing care at a beautiful facility during her brief but brave battle with kidney cancer. She was born in Springfield, MA on January 5, 1955. She spent many years living in Connecticut before moving with the love of her life, John, to Port Orange, FL. Barbara enjoyed spending time at home and in the clubhouse with her friends and husband. She enjoyed golfing and traveling, both with her husband and the Crane Lakes WGA Golf Community. She loved her family and was referred to as the “glue” that held us all together.

She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas P and Mary (Zawistowski) Smyth of Enfield, her brother Thomas P Smyth Jr., and her sister Jacqueline Smyth, both of Enfield. She will be greatly missed and leaves behind her husband, John Plamondon of Port Orange, FL; her brother David and Judy Morele of Colonial Heights, VA; her in-laws, Ted and Peggy Plamondon of Windsor; nephews, Paul and his wife Kathy of Stittville, NY, Christopher and his wife Maya from Ellington; a niece, Jessica Smyth of Hartford; and several great nieces and nephews including Alexander, Stephen, McKenna, Desiree and D’Onya.
