
Joseph “Joe” J. Fiore, 91, of Enfield, entered into eternal life Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare in Enfield. Joe was the beloved husband of Mary K. (Bobrowicz) Fiore and would have celebrated 66 years of marriage on Friday, June 21.
He was born August 27, 1921 in Enfield, son of the late Salvatore and Julia (Alaimo) Fiore, and was a lifelong resident. Joe served his country honorably with the Army/Air Force during World War II.
He was formerly employed by the Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Co. and then as a custodial manager for 50 years at the Felician Sisters Convent in Enfield, retiring in 2000.

Joe was a member of St. Martha Church, Enfield and was an usher at St. Adalbert Church, a charter member of the Rinaldi-Fede Italian-American Veterans of Enfield, and a 26-year member of Holy Name Bowling League in Somersville. He enjoyed photography and taking videos and was an avid Red Sox and UConn Huskies basketball fan.
Besides his loving wife Mary, he is survived by his two children: Salvatore “Sal” J. Fiore and wife Lynn of Enfield, and Sandra Lagana of Enfield; his three beloved grandchildren: Jennifer Loguidice of Middletown, Derek Fiore of Enfield and Kristi Fiore of Enfield; his three loving great-grandchildren: Antonio Fiore, Oliva and Sebastian Loguidice; along with many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by two brothers, Ralph Fiore and Benny Fiore.

Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Rd., Enfield. The funeral procession will form Friday, June 21 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Martha Church for a 12 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will take place in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
