Sheila Marie (McLaughlin) Hobson, 54, of Stafford Springs, loving wife of David Hobson, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at Manchester Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Sheila was born May 16, 1959, daughter of Julia T. (Courtney) McLaughlin of Enfield and the late Henry J. McLaughlin. She was currently employed as a secretary for the Town of Stafford at the Stafford Elementary School and cherished the time spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, David, to whom she was married 30 years, and her mother, Julia, she is also survived by her two loving children, Christina Hobson of Ft. Worth, TX and Daniel Hobson of Stafford Springs; a brother, H. Courtney McLaughlin and his wife, Missy of Princeton, NJ; a niece and nephew, Julia and Cade McLaughlin; and many dear friends.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family Sunday, June 30, 2013, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial for Sheila will be celebrated Monday, July 1, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. (Please meet at the church). Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
