October specials at Allied's Attic Thrift Store include Tuesday student discounts and Saturday donations
Shop early for Halloween costumes and decorations!
Students who visit Allied’s Attic Thrift Store on Tuesdays in October will receive a 10 percent discount if they show their student ID. The store, located at 294 George Washington Rd. in Enfield, will be featuring Halloween costumes and indoor/outdoor decorations all month.
The Attic’s donation processing center will be accepting Saturday donations in October in addition to its normal weekday schedule. Saturday donation hours will be 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.; weekday hours are 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Tax forms are available.
“We also want your tag sale leftovers,” says store Manager Marisol Suarez. “Call the donation center at (860) 265-3829 during normal business hours and we can arrange a weekday pickup if you can’t bring them in yourself.

“We truly appreciate the generosity of our many donors,” Marisol adds, “who have made it possible for us to celebrate our eighth year in business in 2015. We’re looking forward to many more successful years.”
