Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- Eastern Connecticut State University's English Department recognized student achievements on Dec. 8 during its annual English Night celebration. Thirty students were inducted into the national English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta, and several others received scholarship awards and presented capstone projects. Among these students was Marcus Grant of Enfield, a junior majoring in English. Grant was inducted into the national English honor society Sigma Tau Delta.

- Caitlin Gannon and Kaylene Ellis, both of Enfield, were named to the Dean's List for their academic performance in the fall 2022 semeste. To be named to the Dean's List, Lasell students must complete at least 12 credits as a full-time student and achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Springfield College, Springfield MA
- Springfield College has named eight students from Enfield to the fall 2022 Dean's List. They are Madison Daly, Ashley Harding, Meagan Hayes, Mia Jensen, Rachel Justice, Tyler Simmons, Skylar Steele and Gabriella Urso. The criteria for selection to the Dean's List are as follows: The student must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework for the term, exclusive of "P" grades. The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

- Seven students from Enfield have been named to the fall 2022 dean's list. They are Jocelyn Badeau, Mickayla Brozowsky, Daemian Debidart, Marissa Demers, Ava King, Brianna Viens and Kaylee Zukowski. To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a "B."
Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA
- Cameron Carlin of Enfield, a member of the class of 2023 majoring in chemical engineering, was a member of a student team that recently completed an intense research project titled Santa Fe Children's Museum Water Conservation Exhibit B22. At WPI, all undergraduates are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project that applies science and technology that addresses an important societal need or issue. About two-thirds of students complete a project at one of the university's 50-plus off-campus project centers, which are located around the world. A signature element of the innovative undergraduate experience at WPI, the project-based curriculum offers students the opportunity to apply their scientific and technical knowledge to develop thoughtful solutions to real problems that affect the quality of people's lives-and make a difference before they graduate.
