• Bark and bite: K9s show off skills at 34th annual Connecticut Police K9 Olympics (wfsb.com) — Enfield hosted the 34th annual Connecticut Police K9 Olympics on Saturday, drawing more than 30 K9 teams and plenty of local spectators. The event showcased year-round training, raised money for charities and K9 medical costs, and aimed to strengthen connections between police and the community.
   

• Yamaha Sues MOMS Chain for $2.8 Million, Kaplan Grows Lineup (ride-ct.com) — A major lawsuit by Yamaha's finance arm against the MOMS motorcycle dealership chain could affect the multi-line MOMS location in Enfield, which sells several popular brands. The Enfield store, created through acquisitions of local motorsports businesses, is part of a regional network now facing claims of unpaid inventory and parts financing.
