A grant of $6,000.00 has been awarded by the Petit Family Foundation to the Network Against Domestic Abuse in Enfield to support their Community & Youth Outreach Programs.

“With this grant from the Petit Family Foundation we will be able to continue to provide community outreach and prevention education programming,” said Karen Foley O’Connor, Executive Director & CEO of The Network. “The board of directors and our staff thank the Petit Family Foundation for its support to help us educate our youth and create safer communities.”

The Network sees an increasing need to educate people about how to stay safe and sustainable in their communities. Our community & youth educators provide prevention education, particularly in the schools where children and youth need to be learning early and repeatedly about healthy relationships, dealing with emotions and dating/intimate violence prevention.
