ENFIELD, CT — Do you remember Kosciuszko Junior High School, the Mountain Laurel Restaurant, Corey Dodge or the Enfield Press? All have disappeared from Enfield over the past few decades, but the memories and the buildings which contained them remain, though many now house businesses totally unrelated to what we most remember.

Picture Enfield: Then and Now, a periodic column on Enfield Patch, will come to life Wednesday, April 24, as the Friends of the Enfield Library will host Patch founding editor Tim Jensen. His presentation will consist of past photos of Enfield, and what those scenes look like today. Come and see how our hometown has changed over the years, and see if you can recognize the old businesses and neighborhoods. Lunch will be served. Please join us at noon in the Community Room of the Central Library, 104 Middle Road. Admission is free.

All programs at the Enfield Public Library are free and all are welcome. For more information on upcoming Library programs, please visit our website: www.enfieldpubliclibrary.org.
