ENFIELD, CT — A police canine sweep was conducted Wednesday morning at Enfield High School at the request of school officials, but nothing was found, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.

The sweep, which took about 30 minutes, was completed just before 10 a.m. Students remained inside their classrooms while police dogs sniffed lockers, Fox said.

One "hit" was detected on a locker, which school administrators checked and found nothing, Fox said.
