Police Identify Deceased Man and Cause of Death from Fatal Fire in Enfield

Enfield, CT - Police have identified the man found dead in a burning house on Garden Street Tuesday as David P. Boucher, 50.

A report from the chief medical examiner's office said Boucher died of "internal and external burns," and ruled the death a suicide, Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said.

Enfield land records show Boucher as the sole owner of the property at 19 Garden Street, which he purchased in April 2013.
