Pro Wrestling Group to Hold Benefit Show for One of Enfield's Own
Proceeds from a Nov. 18 show will be donated to help with medical expenses for a valued group member.

ENFIELD, CT — Since its debut in Enfield in Aug. 2015, Blitzkrieg! Pro Wrestling has attracted a growing legion of fans and admiration within the industry for its top-notch shows. Its next event, however, will be a benefit card to assist a longtime Enfield resident and hard-working member of the organization.
For more than three years, a quartet known as the Full Throttle Wrecking Crew has been a regular presence at area wrestling events, including the past year with Blitzkrieg! Pro. The foursome consists of the Avery brothers - Todd, Dave, Scott and Mike, all graduates of Fermi High School - who provide security-type services during shows and are valuable members of the ring crew.
On Sept. 20, Todd Avery, a 1985 Fermi alum, was rushed by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital due to chest pains. At the hospital, it was determined the pains were caused by two blocked arteries, and immediate surgery was the only option due to the extent of the blockages.

Currently employed at a new job and having just started on their insurance plan, only some of his medical expenses are covered. He will be out of work for a period of time and is now at risk of losing the insurance he just received. He is expected to return to work in the near future, but he will likely be limited in the amount of physical work he can do.
Blitzkrieg! Pro has arranged its Nov. 18 show to be a benefit to help Todd with his growing medical bills. "Stand By Me" will feature a guest appearance by legendary ECW/WWE star Raven, and will be highlighted by the main event of longtime New England independent star "Firebrand" Brian Fury, in his farewell match with Blitzkrieg!, taking on TNA Impact Grand Champion Moose.
