Quarter Auction to Benefit Summer Escape Camp Scholarship Fund

On Friday, April 29th, the 2Moms on Mission Quarter Auction will benefit the ERfC Summer Escape Scholarship Fund.

Enfield—On Friday, April 29th, the 2Moms on Mission Quarter Auction will benefit the ERfC Summer Escape Scholarship Fund. The Quarter Auction will be held at the Knights of the Columbus, 371 Washington Road in Enfield. Doors open at 6 pm and auction begins at 7pm.

The Quarter Auction is a fun filled night with many vendors including Tupperware, Mary Kay, LulaRoe, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple and other local crafters contributing to the auction. Additional baskets for auction have been donated to ERfC and include summer, beach, barbecue, and gardening themes as well as crafts for kids. The event admission is $5 and includes 2 auction paddles. Additional paddles can be purchased for a $1 each and raffle tickets will be available at additional costs to participate in the tea cup raffle.

2Mom on a Mission will host the third annual event for ERfC, also known as Educational Resources for Children, Inc. Kari Monteforte and Lauren Andrews, founders of the non-profit organization 2Moms on a Mission, started Quarter Auctions to help local charities. Proceeds from this event will provide scholarships to eligible Enfield children entering grades 1-8 in the fall to attend Summer Escape Day Camp.

Summer Escape, licensed by the CT Early Childhood Division, is located at JFK Middle School, 155 Raffia Road. Enrollment is available online at www.erfc.us. Summer Escape includes breakfast, lunch and snacks, and weekly trips to the beach. This year, busing will be provided to and from camp for students who live along Route 5 at several stops.
