Enfield Heating Business Sets Annual Turkey Drive

ENFIELD, CT — Rich’s Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning in Enfield will host its 10th annual Turkey Drive on Saturday, Nov. 18. Rich’s staff will be on-hand to collect turkeys, as well as hams and non-perishable food items which will be delivered to area food shelves.

Anyone wishing to donate can bring their items to Rich’s Oil, 12 Moody Road in Enfield on November 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or anytime throughout the week.

The Rich’s Turkey Drive, in its 10th year, has donated more than 1,000 turkeys to help ensure every family enjoys a holiday meal. Rich Tkacz, owner of Rich’s, and his staff are gearing up for this year’s Turkey Drive. The Enfield Food Shelf is suggesting turkeys that are 12 to 15 pounds, boxes of instant potatoes, canned veggies and yams, as well as pickles, olives and other condiments.

According to Rich Tkacz, “The Turkey Drive is something the Rich’s Team looks forward to every year. We enjoy giving back to the community and for the opportunity to meet with customers, friends and the community.”
