Roger White, 71; Lifelong Enfield Resident

Roger White, 71, of Enfield, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014.
He was born on July 15, 1943 and was a lifelong resident of Enfield.

One of Roger’s favorite pastimes was going to the stock car races at Riverside Park and Stafford Speedway. Roger was a very artistic person who loved drawing, sketching, and painting. He worked for many years at Moore Rug and later at The Ground Round, both in Enfield.
Roger was a kind soul and enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.He enjoyed spending time with his family, and with friends at the Whole Donut in Enfield.

He leaves two brothers and their spouses, Raymond R (Ronnie) and Linda Turner of Spofford, NH and Robert K. and Darlyn Turner of Somers. Roger will also be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Roger was predeceased by his parents, Jane and Raymond Turner of Enfield, and two sisters, Marie Young of Westfield, MA and Jane Scavotto of Hatfield, MA.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9 to 10 a.m. with a memorial service immediately following at 10 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery.
