Ms. Katherine Schneider and Mr. Edmond Rowan were honored at the 36th Anniversary HOPES (Help Our Parish Elementary Schools) Dinner sponsored by the Office of Catholic Schools, Archdiocese of Hartford, and held at the Aqua Turf Club, Southington on September 22nd. The gathering of over 560 included pastors, principals and volunteer leaders representing several school constituencies – parents, grandparents, past parents, alumni and friends. One hundred and three representatives from 47 schools were honored with the 2013 St. John Neumann Award for Volunteer Service, in recognition of outstanding service to Catholic education at the parish school level.
