School Day Schedule Altered in Enfield Tuesday

ENFIELD, CT — An iffy forecast calling for the likelihood of early-morning freezing rain has prompted Enfield Public Schools to open on a 2-hour delay basis Tuesday.

All Enfield Public Schools, Stowe Early Learning Center, Parochial Schools, Head Start, out-of-town buses, CREC Public Safety Academy and ERfC School Age Centers will follow the 2-hour delay schedule. There will be no morning preschool classes. Afternoon preschool will follow the regular schedule. Adult Education morning classes and developmental childcare has been canceled.

The National Weather Service says snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected to develop between 6 and 9 a.m.
