Signs of Growth in Thompsonville

Thompsonville Showing Signs of Growth with 90 Alden Avenue Apartment Complex Opening

A work in progress since 2016, the former St. Adalbert Parochial Grammar School will now be home to those living in the twenty, one bedroom apartments. The complex, located at 90 Alden Avenue is projected for occupancy on May 15.

Located in the historic Thompsonville section of Enfield, 90 Alden Avenue Apartments are conveniently located off Route 5 in Enfield, close to Interstate I-91 and within walking distance to shopping, dining and services.

According to owner, Bill Bellock, “I am pleased this project has taken a fourteen year vacant property and developed it for reuse in a way that will have a positive impact on the area. The apartments are within walking distance of the proposed New Haven-Hartford-Springfield train station. The rail line will allow for easy access to major cities and activities in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The apartments will serve as a catalyst and part of the reenergizing of the Thompsonville section of Enfield.”
