Snowfall Alters Enfield School Day Schedule

ENFIELD, CT — An overnight snowfall has prompted school officials to utilize a new 3-hour delayed opening Friday morning.

All Enfield public schools, Stowe Early Learning Center, parochial schools, out-of-town buses and ERfC School Age Centers will follow the 3-hour delay schedule. There will be no Head Start, morning or afternoon preschool classes. Adult Education morning classes and developmental childcare has been canceled.

The 3-hour delay schedule is:

• high school - 10:26 a.m. to 2:02 p.m.
• middle school - 10:48 a.m. to 2:36 p.m.
• grades 3-5 - 11:40 a.m. to 3:06 p.m.
• grades K-2 - 11:55 a.m. to 3:21 p.m.
• PK STEAM Academy - 12:05 p.m. to 3:31 p.m.
