Special Meeting Scheduled on Enfield Energy Performance Referendum
An audit resulted in a comprehensive list of conservation measures that have the potential to significantly reduce energy consumption.

ENFIELD, CT — The Town of Enfield has scheduled a special meeting with a public presentation on the Energy Performance Referendum on Monday, Aug. 22. The meeting will be held in the Enfield Town Hall Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m.
The Town of Enfield partnered with Honeywell Inc. to perform an energy audit, which resulted in a comprehensive list of energy conservation measures that have the potential to significantly reduce the Town’s energy consumption. If the Town chooses to move forward with the measures, they will need approval by Town Council and at a referendum.
Moreover, no additional cost to the taxpayers is anticipated for any of the improvements. Their cost is expected to be paid from the energy savings that they will provide.
