St. Bernard Church’s Announces Raffle

From St. Bernard Church: Tickets for St. Bernard Church's annual raffle will go on sale the week of April 2. They will be available both from St. Bernard parishioners and from parents of St. Bernard School students, as well as at the church's rectory, 426 Hazard Ave.

Tickets cost $5 each. Prizes to be awarded in this year's raffle are gift certificates for $2,000 to the Holyoke Mall at Ingleside, $1,500 to Home Depot, and $1,000 to Super Stop & Shop.

The raffle drawing comes at the end of the parish's annual Carnival, which this year will be held from Thursday, June 1, through Saturday, June 3, on the church grounds along Route 190 in Hazardville. The drawing will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 9:30 p.m. at the carnival. Ticketholders need not be present to win.

The parish also is offering opportunities to sponsor the carnival at a variety of levels. There are four sponsorship levels: platinum, for a $500 donation; gold, $300; silver, $200; and bronze, $150. Sponsorship donations are tax-deductible.

Platinum sponsors’ names will be displayed above select booths during the carnival, and all other sponsors' names will be posted on a special “Honor Roll” board in front of the church during the weeks leading up to and following the carnival.
