Stabbing Incident At Enfield Apartment Complex Under Investigation

ENFIELD, CT — Police are investigating a reported stabbing late Friday night at an apartment complex off Route 5, in which a man sustained serious injuries.

Around 10:05 p.m., police were dispatched to the Mobil Mart on King Street, where an injured man had driven himself after an incident in the parking lot of a large apartment complex on Gatewood Drive. The man was taken to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries, Chief Alaric Fox said.

The man has provided police with multiple, differing versions of what occurred. The owner of the vehicle the man was in was located and consent to search the vehicle was obtained, Fox said.

An investigation is ongoing.
