State Police Charge Enfield Man With Computer Sex Crimes
Jeffrey Moran, 59, is accused of attempting to meet an underage female for sex, police say.

An Enfield man has been arrested by state police in connection with an attempt to arrange a sexual meeting with what he believed to be a juvenile female.
Jeffrey Moran, 59, of 15 Dover Rd., was charged Wednesday with criminal attempt at enticing a minor and two counts of criminal attempt at impairing the morals of a minor. He was held on $25,000 cash/surety bond, and will be arraigned Thursday in Meriden Superior Court, state police spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance said in a news release.

The Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit conducted a criminal investigation of Moran after he allegedly used sexually graphic images to attempt to entice the juvenile, and then drove to meet the girl at her residence, Vance said.
