State Police Seeking Enfield Crash Witnesses

An SUV went out of control at an offramp and struck a tree, injuring the driver, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT — Connecticut state police are seeking eyewitnesses to a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 91 in Enfield Thursday afternoon that injured a local man.

Around 3:46 p.m., a 2001 Ford Escape traveling northbound went out of control at the Exit 47W offramp, left the roadway and struck a tree. The operator, David Rose, 43, of Enfield, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, police said.
