Stella K. Malinoski, 91; Lifelong Enfield Resident Who Worked for Hallmark; An Avid Sports Fan

Stella K. Malinoski, 91, of Enfield, was reunited with her beloved late husband Leo Malinoski (1988) after twenty seven years on Friday, April 10, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital.

She was born on October 23, 1923 in Enfield, CT, the daughter of the late Walter and Katherine (Kiszka) Kukulka.

Stella was a lifelong resident of Enfield. She was employed at Hallmark for eighteen years. Stella was a communicant of St. Adalbert Church and a member of AARP.

Devoted to her favorite sports teams, she was a New York Yankee’s fan and an avid UCONN Women’s Basketball fan. She was also an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles, and also enjoyed traveling.

Stella is survived by six loving children; Philip Malinoski and his wife Joan of Port Orange, FL, William Malinoski and his wife Doreen of Enfield, Anne Cunningham and her husband Peter of Enfield, Joseph Malinoski and his wife Mary of Somers, Frances White and her husband Anthony of Somers, and Theresa Malinoski of Enfield; twelve cherished grandchildren; ten beloved great-grandchildren; a sister Frances Mell of Wilbraham, MA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Leo, she was predeceased by four brothers Joseph, Edmund, Theodore, and Raymond Kukulka and two sisters Mary Messina and Josephine Murawski.

Relatives and friends may join the family on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. A procession will form on Thursday, April 16 at 9:00 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert Church, 90 Alden Ave., Enfield. Interment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Stella’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
