ENFIELD, CT — A "person of interest" is being questioned by police following the deliberate ignition of a pair of dumpsters behind a Route 190 strip mall Saturday night.

Around 8:18 p.m., the Thompsonville Fire Department responded to the rear of 25 Hazard Ave., or Enfield Commons, upon a report of multiple dumpsters on fire. Upon receiving camera footage supplied by management of the 5 Below store, fire officials determined the dumpsters were ignited deliberately, Chief David Deskis said.

Fire officials and police worked together to identify the person of interest. Enfield police then continued the investigation from that point, Deskis said.
