Enfield Man Arrested Following Robbery At Chase Bank [UPDATED]

ENFIELD, CT — A 40-year-old local man was arrested Wednesday morning, shortly after a robbery at Chase Bank in which the bandit told a bank employee that he had a bomb, Enfield police said.

Anthony Daglio was charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree larceny and first-degree threatening. He is being held on $250,000 bond, and is slated to be arraigned Thursday in Hartford Superior Court.

Around 9:17 a.m., police received a 911 call from an employee of the bank, located at 50 Hazard Avenue, stating they had just been robbed. Officers arrived and set up a perimeter in the area of the bank. A man fitting the description of the robber was shortly located on foot behind the nearby ShopRite Supermarket, police said.

Following his arrest, Daglio was found to be in possession of a large sum of money. A check of the bank found no evidence of any explosive materials. No injuries were reported, police said.
