Board of Education

The Enfield Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 820 Enfield St. The board is expected to discuss some modifications to the 2011-12 school calendar. Prior to the regular meeting, a special meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Thompsonville Room to discuss the search for a new superintendent of schools; that meeting will be held in executive session.

The school board will reconvene Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the board conference room at Henry Barnard Elementary School, 27 Shaker Rd. This special meeting, also in executive session, will continue the focus on the superintendent search.

Conservation Commission

The Enfield Conservation Commission will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Enfield Room on the lower level of Town Hall. The meeting will include presentations on management of invasive plants and escarpment soils.
